Hello there! It's Nik with your weekly dose of book summaries, woo! This week's featured title is Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. Since this book is an all-time literary classic, and I wanted to include both interesting life lessons as well as a summary of the plot, I decided to beef up the summary to 8 minutes reading time. Therefore, today's amazing, animated video edition is also a bit longer than our usual video — but I'm super happy with the result! Brave New World is often regarded as a counterpart to 1984. Everything is controlled, from the doses of happiness drugs to the amount of children being born and raised in labs to the endless, mindless workers doing their tasks. At first, everyone seems content, but soon, John discovers plenty of things are amiss in this society... Here are 3 important life lessons you'll learn from today's video analysis of the plot of Brave New World:

Each post contains a short idea explained via a story, and it can come from anywhere — a great movie, a good TV show, a piece of art, a business, or a recent event in my life.
