If you live in the United States like I do, you’re probably getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday. I always love this time of year. It’s wonderful to spend the holidays with loved ones, create new memories, and enjoy old traditions.
For the last decade, one of those traditions has been putting together a list of my holiday book recommendations. While I usually pick five books I’ve enjoyed over the previous twelve months, I decided to cast a wider net this time around.
This year’s list includes a favorite of mine since middle school, a brand-new memoir that I just finished, a guidebook I’ve turned to for decades, a history of science that has stuck with me since I first picked it up, and one of the best presidential biographies I’ve ever read. All five are books that I have recommended to my family and friends over the years.
